Francesco deals with patents and design, is a European Patent Attorney and an Italian IP Attorney and holds the European Patent Litigation Certificate.

After obtaining a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Parma, and a brief working experience as a researcher in companies manufacturing automated machines, Francesco landed in 2015 in the field of IP protection, in a consultancy firm.

Having joined the IP SEXTANT team in 2023, he mainly deals with the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, both in Italy and abroad, filing and prosecution of design registrations, both in Italy and abroad, infringement opinions (FTO), validity opinions, prior art searches, and consultancy in disputes.

Francesco is fluent in English.
